We welcome volunteers and woofers who wish to help us while having a unique experience in a lovely and peaceful natural environment.
About the work
In order to volunteer with us, it is necessary for you to be interested in our activities (construction, organic gardening…), and even better if you have some prior experience. It is also very important for you to be physically fit.
We need a lot of help to build EVERYTHING on our new land !! We will start to grow organic vegetables, plants and fruit trees this year and will construct several natural buildings from September 2019. The new land is only 50 meters from our current center, so we will be able to work by using the existing facilities (dormitory, relaxing area, kitchen, bathroom, tool shed). The work proposed to volunteers will be mostly gardening and finishing the new buildings (mostly to make the walls and/or the roof).
Note: In February 2020,we organise some workshops, so we can’t accept volunteers.
The work for each week will be carefully organised and planned. Each day you will be guided by a project member who will explain and demonstrate how to do the work properly and safely.
We accept volunteers for a minimum of 7 working days, and we ask that volunteers work 6 hours per day and if possible, sometimes to help the project members with cooking.
Please contact us to know the detailed schedule planned for each month.
Contribution: We provide volunteers with food and accommodation for free.
We will provide simple accommodation in a dormitory or – if you prefer to have some privacy – in a tent. A mattress, blanket, pillow and a mosquito net will be provided. There is also a ‘relaxing area’ in the shade with hammocks and an area to play volley-ball or badminton !!
Wifi and 220 V electricity are available.
Meals will be mostly vegetarian with some meat and fish options.
We will send you instructions to get to our centre from Chiang Rai city by taxi (cost: about 600 baht). Otherwise – if we are available – we can pick up volunteers at Chiang Rai for a fee (300 bahts). More information here about how to get to Chiang Rai.
We ask all volunteers to refrain from any illegal drug use or excessive drinking in our centre.
